Mere words seem inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many healings and blessings that I have received through its study and application. The first such healing that I experienced will always remain outstanding in my thought. It was an instantaneous healing of a condition which had been persistent over a long number of years and had been the cause of much suffering. A diagnosis was never made, but the condition was thought to be an intestinal obstruction.

While I was visiting in the home of a friend I was seized with an acute attack of this trouble, such as I had experienced frequently before. Through my friend's clear understanding and application of the truth we are taught in Christian Science the condition was completely met in less than an hour. This healing has been permanent, for there has never been a recurrence of the difficulty.

At that time I was not interested in Christian Science, but I soon began the study of it. Shortly afterward I was healed of constipation, from which I had suffered since childhood. This came through the small measure of understanding which I had gained through earnest study. Many other healings gradually followed, and I am sincerely grateful for them.
