I should like to express my deep appreciation of the many blessings received in our home through an understanding of the teachings of Christian Science. We have been beautifully healed of cases of severe illness, and an excellent position came at a time when positions were being frozen.

An experience which has been most helpful to me took place during the depression, when my husband was trying, without much success, to sell oil burners. At this time I attended a Christian Science lecture. In the introduction the speaker related an incident about a little girl who had a severe case of boils. Her mother was helping her in Christian Science, but they were not making much progress.

Then the mother told the child that they would consider the boils as opportunities to prove God's allness. The next day the little girl came running to her mother and said, "Look, Mother, I have some more opportunities." There were a few more boils, but the pain had ceased; and in a short time the boils disappeared.
