"WITHOUT SPOT"

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Long ago someone sang this song (S. of Sol. 4:7): "Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee." This might be just another way of saying that the children of God are pure and perfect, healthy and beautiful, because their Father-Mother God is pure and perfect.

Georgia and Donna, two little sisters, have been going to a Christian Science Sunday School since they were about two years old. One of their first lessons was the study of the Beatitudes. One of these tells us (Matt. 5:8), "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

The children have learned that to be pure in heart means to have their thinking clean and pure, clear as the water from a mountain brook, and free from all that is wrong. Pure thought could never have in it fear, hate, anger, disobedience, or untruthfulness.
