With a desire to help those parents who are disappointed because their children have not continued the study and application of Christian Science I write this testimony of gratitude for all the benefits I have received through its study and practice.

My mother was healed of consumption in its last stages when I was a small child. After this healing my parents began an earnest study of Christian Science and in a very short time had the blessing of class instruction.

During the several years that my mother was a practitioner I witnessed many healings. At that time there was no branch church where we lived. My parents taught me from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy; but I did not become interested in doing anything for myself, since my parents were always able to help when I was ill. When they were no longer here, a nervous condition developed in my experience. Then I began the study of Christian Science in earnest, and with the help of a practitioner the condition was soon healed.
