"Good demands of man every hour, in which to work out the problem of being," writes Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health (pp. 261, 262). In obedience to this demand my parents became diligent students of Christian Science, and their interest brought us children into this religion. The good I received in my years as a Sunday School pupil protected me from many of the usual problems of a growing child and taught me how to work out problems that have since confronted me in adult life.

Our three children were raised in Christian Science, and each has learned to apply this wonderful truth in his individual experience. I am especially grateful that my husband and I have had a mutual love for Christian Science, through which we have found harmony, supply, health, and peace.

I should like to tell of the healing of an aggravated case of oak poisoning, which attacked one of our sons. When he came from work in the mountains one week end, his whole body was completely covered with the condition, which had gone so far and caused him to be in such pain that he lost consciousness several times. Help was requested of a practitioner, and work was done to realize the true sonship of man, his eternal perfection and unchangeableness. The work went on for two days before the condition began to abate; then the healing was rapid. In two weeks the boy's skin was completely healed, the swelling was gone, and he was ready for work.
