I have been interested in Christian Science for some years and am very grateful for the difference it is making in my life. My first healing was that of a heavy cold and came as I was reading the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was indeed happy to find myself completely free.

Even with this proof of God's love, however, I discontinued my study of Christian Science and tried to conduct my life in my own way without help from God. Everything went wrong until I once more turned to Christian Science and tried to practice all I understood. I was suffering from acute arthritis in both ankles, and a doctor had said there was no possibility of my walking again. I requested help of a Christian Science practitioner, and in a fortnight I was walking with the use of a stick. Before long I was completely free. A very painful stomach trouble had resulted from my worrying a great deal. When I finally realized that God governs all, the worry ceased and I was healed.

A sprained ankle was also healed, and I was able to go to work as usual. The swelling and discoloration were all gone in two days. Unsightly warts which covered my hands disappeared in one treatment, and for that I am indeed grateful.
