Some time ago I heard the thought expressed that the Christian Science periodicals belong to us as Christian Scientists, and it is our duty to contribute to them. With this thought in view, and in deep gratitude for the many times I have been helped by reading testimonies in the periodicals, I give this testimony.

For a number of years Christian Science has been my physician and my guide. I have found that my difficulties have been solved when I have been willing to be obedient to divine Principle; in other words, when I have been willing to keep the First Commandment (Ex. 20: 3), "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

I am very grateful that my study of Christian Science is leading me to see that when a physical healing is sought through the help of this Science, it is not gained by setting out to heal the physical body, but rather it is attained when one gains an understanding of the man of God's creating.
