In grateful acknowledgment of all that Christian Science has done for me, I offer this testimony. About twenty-three years ago I had a short testimony in the Sentinel. I was very new in Science at the time, and since then many encouraging demonstrations of Truth have unfolded. Although there were times when I strayed from the right road and had to retrace my steps, divine Love led me back. Every effort to understand and live Christian Science has paid big dividends. My health is excellent, and I have gained great peace of mind.

Release from self-condemnation, supersensitiveness, undue personal responsibility, and overanxiety; the conquering of fear in many forms, including that of being misjudged and misunderstood; the rising above grief, loneliness, and self-pity—these are some of the reasons for my deep gratitude.

A practical demonstration of truth which I experienced has always encouraged me to persevere whenever doubt has tried to creep in. Some money which belonged to an estate could not be located, but by my clinging to the fact that man is spiritual and therefore honest, and to the Bible verse (Matt. 10; 26), "There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known," at just the right time the money was located and turned over to the estate.
