With prayerful expectation that some reader will receive encouragement from my testimony, I am writing to express my gratitude for the many healings I have experienced during services of branch Churches of Christ, Scientist.

At a Wednesday evening testimony meeting I was instantaneously healed of grief and homesickness when these words were read from the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 254): "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God." At a Thanksgiving Day service I was released from nervous indigestion, which had persisted for days, during the reading of the following passage (ibid., p. 249): "Let us feel the divine energy of Spirit, bringing us into newness of life and recognizing no mortal nor material power as able to destroy." On another occasion a severe headache was overcome during the singing of the hymn beginning, "O weary pilgrim, lift your head" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 425). At still another church service a healing took place when I gained a clearer realization of the meaning of the Lord's Prayer.

I am indeed grateful for the innumerable blessings which are mine as a student of Christian Science, among which are membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, class instruction, and encouragement and help from consecrated practitioners.—(Miss) Edith C. Gallaher, San Francisco, California.
