Christian Science has been a great blessing to me. I have experienced physical healings, help regarding schoolwork and employment, and harmonious placement. It is with much gratitude that I relate the following experience.

I applied for a summer tour of active duty, between college terms, with the United States Air Force. The day I reported for duty we entered the Korean War. Those processing me expressed doubt that I would be allowed to return home and finish college. This suggestion seemed to materialize, for it was announced that all men then on active duty would be "frozen" in the service for a year.

I needed just a few more hours' credit to receive my degree, and although I wished to do my duty, I also wanted to complete my schooling. I worked to let God's will be done and tried to know that I could do only His work.
