THOUGHTS FOR THE CONGREGATION
No
dull-of-hearing attitude can stay
The purpose which has brought us here today.
Love has supplied the wisdom to prepare
The service we are privileged to share.
Great passages interpreting the Word
For daily study surely fanned and stirred
In each of us, in differing degree,
Some inner spark of receptivity.
The spoken word into this soil will fall;
The seed within itself accomplish all
That we are here for—that the time employed
Shall not return unto the Father void.
