Through the gradual unfoldment of the relationship of God and man as inseparable—the unity of Principle and its idea as revealed in Christian Science—I am gaining a better understanding of the perfection of man. This unfoldment has been instrumental in aiding me to loose my dear ones and leave them to the care of God, realizing that as children of God they already have everything good, for God is with them always and in all ways.

I have had many proofs of the Father's loving care and of the power of Truth over error. My first healing was instantaneous. While traveling on a European liner I fell on a very slippery floor and suffered what I thought was a minor bruise on the ankle, but by the end of the day the condition developed into a severe case of blood poisoning. I was not in Science at the time; so I had medical attention. The poisoning was localized and finally eradicated, but an open wound was left. Upon my return home at the end of the summer, I started upon a round of visits to doctors. I went from one to another, but like the woman with the issue of blood, I was nothing bettered. After four years of suffering and pain I was told by a specialist that nothing more could be done for me and that I would have to go to a hospital.

It was at this critical time that a dear one suggested Christian Science. A practitioner was contacted, and in three days I was up and about, and the wound, which had not responded to four years of medical treatment, was healed. Surely, "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword" (Hebr. 4:12).
