My gratitude to God can never be fully expressed for God's two witnesses: Christ Jesus, who brought Christianity to the world, and Christian Science, the discovery of Mary Baker Eddy. Christian Science is the final revelation of Truth to this age and comes to us in Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which she has described in a marginal heading as '"Truth's volume" (ibid., p. 559).

Through Christian Science I have found complete happiness. I have gained the knowledge that joy is spiritual and that material pleasures are insubstantial and unreal, and this is the true "joy no man taketh from [us]" (John l6: 22).

I should like to tell of a healing which occurred several years ago. At that time we were living in a university housing project, where there were many small children, including our own child. One morning I felt a heavy fear. I soon learned that one of the neighbor's children had infantile paralysis. There was extreme fear in the thoughts of all the occupants of the apartments, and this presently entered my consciousness. I called a Christian Science practitioner to ask for help in overcoming this fear, and we worked as we are taught to do in Christian Science.
