I wish to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. It has answered every conceivable need in my human experience, and every day there is further cause for gratitude for additional proofs of the ever-presence and omnipotence of God, good.

As a small child I attended the Christian Science Sunday School, and I remember that my first healing came early. One Friday afternoon I came home from school not feeling well, and on Saturday morning I was evidencing the symptoms of the measles. I remember telling my mother that God is Love and that He takes care of His children. Within twenty-four hours the symptoms had disappeared, and on Monday morning I returned to school with not a vestige of the difficulty. No one at school ever knew there had been even a suggestion of the error. Many times since, the quickness of this healing has helped me to realize that it is not necessary to struggle humanly in order to solve our problems; our only need is to know that God is Love and that He takes care of His children.

Problems in personal relationships and those erroneously associated with adolescence were beautifully met through the understanding of Christian Science. The power of Truth was brought to bear on my experience when I was playing in a golf tournament. Through the understanding that bodily action is the result of mental direction and that perfection is the normal state of man, I was able to demonstrate these truths unmolested by mortal mind fears and suggestions. There have also been many physical healings, including those of boils, colds, kidney trouble, headaches, fatigue, and many other ills which were never diagnosed. Also, I experienced a beautiful healing of injury when I was hit by a golf ball.
