THE TRIAL

If one who is seemingly tried by inharmonies, limitations, and sorrows could turn on material sense and say, "This is not so; this is not true," and thereupon find himself free, would he not accept this as a marvelous and regenerating experience?

Christian Science has proved that one may go forth each day with confidence and joy, knowing that the accusations against man's full expression of health, happiness, and success are false, and that he may at any moment claim his dominion and stand his ground on the assertion of the truth that he is not guilty. For through the acceptance, study, and application of Christian Science one learns to claim his spiritual status as the son of God— perfect as his Father is perfect.

In her great love for humanity and in obedience to God, Mary Baker Eddy established her revelation, which she named Christian Science, upon a sure foundation, proving it to be the Holy Comforter promised by the Master. All may come under its sheltering love and experience its healing power. There is joy and comfort in the world today because of this revealed Science of Christ, Truth, which proves to its students that there is divine authority for disclaiming all evil as any part of God or man, His creation. This authority is received from the Bible (Gen. 1:31): "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."
