Membership Notice

Through membership in The Mother Church those who have accepted Christian Science have the opportunity for full participation in its world-wide healing and redemptive work, as provided by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. Applications for membership are acted upon by The Christian Science Board of Directors twice a year, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 2, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy.

The next date of admission is May 30, 1952. Applications to be considered on that date must reach the Clerk not later than Ma 1, 1952. If those who wish to take this step will forward their applications as early as possible rather than wait until near the closing date, it will greatly facilitate the work in the Clerk's office.

An instruction folder, giving full details for filling out the application properly, accompanies every application. The questionnaire, which is a part of it, should be filled out by the applicant and forwarded to the Clerk with the application.

Application blanks and information concerning Church membership may be obtained at Christian Science Reading Rooms, from practitioners listed in The Christian Science Journal, or from clerks of branch churches or societies. Applications may also be obtained from Cordon V. Comer, Clerk, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.
