Many friends joined with the Wolverton and Stony Stratford Christian Science Society last Sunday in the service of the dedication of their church, which was held in the church building, 15 Wolverton Road, Stony Stratford.

The opening hymn was followed by reading from the Bible, I Chronicles, chapter 29, verses 9 to 18 inclusive. The dedicatory address was read, part of which was as follows: "We are here not only to dedicate our church to the service of God and humanity but to consecrate ourselves to the fulfillment of the purpose of Church. In 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures' our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, reminds us, 'The Church is that institution, whirh affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of divine Science, thereby casting out devils, or error, and healing the sick.'
