In 1946 I was stricken with what a doctor diagnosed as a severe case of acute rheumatic fever. The suffering was almost unbearable. I lost the use of all my limbs, and the joints became stiff. I also lost much weight. My wife, who is a Christian Science practitioner, asked me whether I wanted medical treatment or Christian Science. My reply was, "Christian Science." Through her help I was finally healed, and I am now entirely free. I am deeply grateful for her loving and consecrated work.
I wish to express gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her great gift to mankind, Christian Science, for through it we are proving our God-given freedom.— William Loeskow, Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.
