NOW IS THE DAY

One of the glories of Christian Science is that it is applicable every moment of every hour of every day. It is for everyone. No one is excluded from employing its teachings. On page 1 of "Rudimental Divine Science" Mary Baker Eddy defines Christian Science "as the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony."

There never is an instant when God's law, God's goodness, is inoperative. It applies not only to the so-called big problems that we are called upon to work out, but also to every single action throughout the day. Universal harmony admits of no exception. Christian Science demonstrates divine Principle and proves the immutable goodness of God.

God is omnipresent and omniscient. There is no point in eternity where God is absent or unaware of His ideas. Man, as God's image and reflection, can experience no instant when he is governed by chance or accident. Mrs. Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 424), "Accidents are unknown to God, or immortal Mind, and we must leave the mortal basis of belief and unite with the one Mind, in order to change the notion of chance to the proper sense of God's unerring direction and thus bring out harmony."
