Personal sense is the consciousness of corporeality, the belief that man is a mortal; and Christian Science denies reality to this sense on the basis that there is but one consciousness, Spirit and its reflection, and that man is incorporeal and discerned by spiritual sense alone.

The joys of spiritual being can never be eclipsed by the shadows of materiality.

The study of Christian Science is a most absorbing process of reeducation.
I should like to express my deep appreciation of the faithful and loving work done for me by Christian Science practitioners at different times.
Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Miscellaneous Writings" under the title "Pond and Purpose".
I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the many blessings received through the operation of divine Principle.
As I live in a town which is about one hundred miles from a Church of Christ, Scientist, it is impossible for me to give orally my testimony of the power of Truth; so I should like for the second time to express through the periodicals my thanks for the revelation of Christian Science.
"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Christian Science has given me an understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him, for which I am truly grateful.
