Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, makes this arresting statement in "Miscellaneous Writings".
"God expresses in man the infinite idea forever developing itself, broadening and rising higher and higher from a boundless basis.
One
of the most joy-giving activities in Christian Science provided for us by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, is that of writing for our periodicals.
When
we accept Christian Science, we adopt a way of thinking, and this way of thinking does not permit us to consult matter or material sense concerning our state of health, wealth, and general well-being.
God's
daily gifts come flowing downLife's waterfall—The living waters of His Word,Supplying all.
In
the fourth chapter of II Kings it is related that a great woman of Shunem urged her husband to "make a little chamber.
One
of the glories of Christian Science is that it is applicable every moment of every hour of every day.
The
burdens that have bowed the backAre nothing more nor lessThan sorry concepts borne for lackOf seeing perfectness.
Personal
sense is the consciousness of corporeality, the belief that man is a mortal; and Christian Science denies reality to this sense on the basis that there is but one consciousness, Spirit and its reflection, and that man is incorporeal and discerned by spiritual sense alone.
The
joys of spiritual being can never be eclipsed by the shadows of materiality.
