With love and deep gratitude I should like to tell of some of the blessings and healings that have come to me through the teachings of Christian Science. Happiness and joy have been mine since I took up the study of this beautiful religion of Truth and Love.

A healing that will always stand out as a beacon light to me was a quick one. I had had several attacks of what I believe medical science would call chronic appendicitis, and one night I had a very severe attack. I worked in Christian Science as best I knew how, and the next day I went to see a practitioner. She lovingly gave me help, and I was healed instantaneously. I have never had another attack. In Hebrews (4:12) we read, "The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," and in the textbook, Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy tells us (p. 326), "Not partially, but fully, the great healer of mortal mind is the healer of the body." I am grateful for this demonstration and thankful for the loving help this practitioner gave me.

I was also healed of ptomaine poisoning. For several nights I was unable to sleep, and for several days I had not touched food. A practitioner was called, and soon I was able to eat a light meal, and I slept well that night. The next day I was at the church doing my work on one of the committees. Headaches, from which I had suffered for a number of years, were healed through my reading of the textbook. Many other healings and blessings have come to me when the truth has been properly applied.
