FROM ANNUAL REPORTS OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION
Protecting The Public From Imposition
Suffolk, England
Last autumn a service, held in Needham Market Parish church by the church's Healing Guild, inspired a large number of letters in the East Anglian Daily Times on spiritual healing. These came from many sources, but mainly from spiritualists. We refrained at first from adding our quota, feeling that if it was right for us to do so the opportunity would come, as it eventually did. A correspondent ignorantly included Christian Scientists among those who healed by rays in the finger tips. This gave us our opportunity, and we were able to write explaining what healing in Christian Science really is, and we are grateful to the editor for publishing our letter almost in full.
