It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give this testimony of God's healing power and loving care.

In 1927 we had some business difficulty, and as my husband's father had loaned us part of the money for this business venture, we felt we should ask his advice. My husband's parents came to visit us at this time, and while with us his mother requested that I take her to visit a Christian Science practitioner whom she knew. Arrangements were made for the visit, and on the way there I left a prescription to be filled at a drugstore, because at that time I was under a doctor's care for insomnia and ulcers of the stomach.

After listening to this practitioner tell of God's care and of the healing power of Christian Science, I decided to ask for help for myself and also for the business situation. The practitioner told me to obtain a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and to read it daily. I never even opened the package containing the prescription, for the healings of insomnia and ulcers were instantaneous. I slept that night as I had not done in months, and I never again suffered from the stomach condition. Later, the business situation was settled satisfactorily, and we received the money due us. Since that time Christian Science has been my only physician.
