GOD GIVES US STRENGTH

God gives us strength
To start each day anew,
To gain a higher view,
With hearts that long to bless
In acts of tenderness.

God gives us strength
To shed His rays of light
That keep our hearts in flight.
With words of cheer to sing
A song that peace will bring.

God gives us strength
To climb the steepest hill
According to His will,
And keep a peaceful mood,
Inspiring gratitude.
