Christian Science is a demonstrable religion. This has been proved many times in my experience, both with and without the help of practitioners. All problems encountered in my daily life, whether physical, business, or social, have been solved when Mrs. Eddy's teachings have been faithfully applied. Following are brief accounts of two such occasions.

Approximately a year after leaving stenographic work, I was without warning required to take in shorthand a verbatim record of a hearing about to begin. I had never at any time attempted to record sustained conversation, but by clinging to the truth of the statement, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 494), I was able to make the necessary records accurately and without a sense of strain or weariness.

Before our baby arrived I devoted more time than usual to study, attempting to realize clearly that mortal man cannot usurp the power of God as a creator and that our heavenly Father-Mother is the only Parent. The pregnancy was free from the discomforts and inconveniences usually associated with the condition. The harmonious birth and lack of aftereffects attracted so much attention at the hospital that several nurses asked for an explanation of the Science which produced such results.
