It is a blessing to me to have had parents who were Christian Scientists. In World War I there were many instances of lack of supply which were met. I feel it was demonstration of the truth on my mother's part which enabled her to send me to college. Inspiration has made it possible for me to pass examinations that at first seemed very difficult. Statements on education by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," have been and are of great value in my work. Items from The Christian Science Monitor also have proved of much help.

I am very grateful for physical healings, including those of constipation and a large lump on my face. The latter healing came about through the faithful work of practitioner. This healing impressed a number of people who are not Christian Scientists. Study of the textbook, particularly the "Scientific Translation of Mortal Mind," on pages 115 and 116, is helping me to overcome bad temper, false attraction, pride, grief, and fear.

Membership in The Mother Church, study of the Church Manual by Mrs. Eddy, reading of the periodicals, and attendance at the lectures have brought me many blessings. Class instruction has been invaluable in my experience, and association meetings are a great joy.
