INSTANTANEOUS HEALING

Ethel MacKinnon Armstrong

When Jesus healed,
Instantly the halt and lame
Leaped to their feet;
With what surprise
The blinded eyes looked out
Upon a brilliant world;
The lepers' sores became clean flesh,
And peace and calm replaced
The palsied frame.

The power the Master used
Is ours today.
The loving Father
Gives to us the same clear thought
That saw no sickness to be healed,
But man as perfect spiritual idea.
