Signs of the Times

Dr. Perry Epler Gresham in a sermon reported in the Youngstown Vindicator, Ohio

"The only cure for hostilities and our self-destructive resentments is love. ... There is nothing more important in life than love. All the things happen to us because we do not love adequately—this is why we have wars and strikes."

On the subject of the Ten Commandments, Dr. Gresham said the greatest is. Thou shalt love God, and the second, Thou shalt love thy neighbor. He added that Jesus told us what we should do, how to do it, what would happen if we do, and what would happen if we don't.
