I should like to express my gratitude...

I should like to express my gratitude to God for His protection and guidance; to Christ Jesus, our Way-shower; and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for opening thought to what God truly is. When Christian Science has been the only physician, I have been healed of many physical problems. I should like to tell of one healing—that of scarlet fever and blood poisoning. My parents at the time were young in Christian Science and became quite fearful. They called in several physicians, who tried to help in the best way they knew, but to no avail. They said my case was hopeless and told my parents to prepare for the worst. My mother had had a Christian Science practitioner helping her all this time. She now relied fully on Christian Science for me, and very shortly I was healed.

I am grateful for having had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School from the age of three until twenty years; also for being a member of The Mother Church and of one of its branches. —Harold J. Steele, Jr., San Francisco, California.
