Over twenty years ago on a Sunday morning I was awakened by a severe pain in my side, so severe that I could neither lie still nor stand upright for more than a few seconds at a time. I could not think clearly enough to give myself a treatment or stand still long enough to call a practitioner.

I aroused my wife and asked her to call a practitioner in a town fifteen miles away. My wife repeated to me what the practitioner said, and one sentence so impressed me that I repeated it over and over again. It was, "God could not be in pain; therefore you, as His image and likeness, could not be in pain." The practitioner gave treatment immediately, and within twenty minutes two stones were passed through the urinary passage, and the pain left at that moment.

I was able to go to business the following day and do my work, which called for seven miles of walking and the climbing of many steps. There has been no recurrence of the condition, nor do I expect that there will be, for I have come to understand that once error is destroyed, it ceases to exist.
