JUDGMENT

The only judgment is God's judgment. God's constant and exclusive appraisal of man and the universe in terms of perfection is determining their everlasting and indestructible status. Because God, divine Mind, is infinite, there is none other than He to do any appraising, and nothing to be appraised but that which reflects Him. The judgment, therefore, which man in reality undergoes is always in man's favor, always a mental and spiritual pronouncement of his innocence, his freedom from sin and sickness, his inability, spiritually understood, to die.

Statements like the foregoing would be mere abstractions if evidence of their truth could not find confirmation in the experience of men and women. But it does find such confirmation in the works of Christ Jesus, and it has found it continuously in this age in the demonstrations of Mary Baker Eddy and of her followers in Christian Science, the Comforter Mrs. Eddy discovered in fulfillment of the Master's promise that it would come and lead into all truth.

It is now accepted knowledge among unnumbered adherents of this religion that anyone who realizes the spiritual fact that he exists in divine Mind as the idea of Mind sees evidence specifically and progressively appearing that he is here and now as divine Mind appraises him. He is aware of being adjudged continuously to be the likeness of Mind and of the truth of that judgment supported uninterruptedly by tangible and immediate evidence of its truth. Conversely, he is aware that that judgment and the evidence which supports it nullify all other so-called judgment and introduce him to freedom from judging erroneously and from being himself so judged.
