I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy for giving us Christian Science and her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Since I came into this Science some sixteen years ago, every problem to which I have applied it has been solved. The problems include those of employment, supply, health, and many other things.

A recent experience proved conclusively to me and to others that Christian Science does heal, support, and protect. Over three years ago I suffered a complete physical and nervous breakdown and upon my refusal to submit to medical treatment was compelled by my employers to resign from what I thought to be a very wonderful position. This disturbed me considerably because my employers had known of my religious convictions at the time I was employed.

My mind was then so filled with resentment, and no doubt hate, that even the faithful work of several practitioners did not seem to do more than just sustain me. Although I did not immediately receive my healing through the efforts of the early practitioners on the case, a thought was given me by one which helped me greatly. It is to be found in II Samuel (22:33): "God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect." This thought gave me the physical strength to move around.
