I am grateful for the opportunity which the Christian Science periodicals offer us to testify that Christian Science does heal. When I first heard about it over thirty years ago, my parents had been informed by two physicians that I had a bad heart condition; that I would have to be very careful and not do any work or exert myself in any way.

A short time after this we moved close to a Christian Science church, and I decided to have help from a practitioner. I believe I was healed almost at once, but it took about a month for me to realize this, as there was so much fear to be destroyed.

I am very grateful for all the healings I have had during these years, including a quick overcoming of laryngitis. A healing for which I am especially grateful took place about ten years ago. I had a nervous breakdown, and although I had always had quick healings, this condition did not appear to be much better after over a week's treatment. One day things seemed much worse; so the practitioner came to my home, and after he talked lovingly and pointed out to me the advantages of church membership, I felt that that was the one thing I desired. From that very afternoon I realized I had been healed.
