In deep gratitude I wish to give my testimony of the many wonderful healings and the protection I have received through the years from Christian Science.

Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 1), "Desire is prayer." At one time there was so much discord around me that I became confused and prayed to God alone at night. My prayers were answered when a woman who was a Christian Scientist responded to an advertisement of mine. She saw my need and came bravely to my rescue.

During the time of regeneration I was healed of many ills. Among them were goiter of long standing, influenza, severe burns, business problems, and financial lack. A belief that people were dishonest was overcome, and I was helped in rearing three children alone. I was protected in a plane crash in which I received only a slight bump on my head. At times I was bothered with a sick stomach and vomiting. The last time I suffered such an attack, I called a practitioner. Within a short time I was healed.
