Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Much freedom and many blessings have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science.

I had never heard of this Science until after we moved from a large city to a very small town. It was while we were living there that everything seemed to be wrong, physically, mentally, and financially. One day a neighbor presented Christian Science to me, and the moment I started to read the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy I knew that it was the religion I had hungered for. Knowing that I had found the truth, I could hardly put the book down even for a moment.

I have had many healings in Christian Science, such as those of headaches, burns, sprained ankle, colds, and many other difficulties; but the most outstanding healing was that of a skin disease of long standing. This healing was slow, for I had many errors to overcome or root out of my consciousness, such as fear, resentment, self-pity, faultfinding, injustice, and stubbornness. I am truly grateful for this healing, which came through the help of a patient and loving practitioner.
