One
of the most oppressing mortal suggestions is that of helplessness.

is a good thing when one reaches the point in human experience where he can say to God without mental reservation, "Thy will be done," for it is at this point of self-surrender that one finds the true way to health, happiness, and peace.
Educators
frequently contend that age makes a difference in the ability to learn, or that a period of difficulty must be experienced before assignments can be handled if the student has been away from school for a long period.
A Veteran
of World War II attending school on limited funds purchased a small automobile, an old model, to convey him to and from his classes.

Momentous indeed is the child's entrance into the Christian Science Sunday School.

Gratitude urges me to write this testimony of the healings that have come to me through Christian Science.
I was living in New Zealand when I first found God, "who healeth all thy diseases.
I should like to give grateful acknowledgment to Christian Science, which I began to study in 1931.
At a time in my experience when supply seemed very limited and uncertain, when worry and sorrow were daily companions, and the responsibility of providing for myself and two small children appeared to be imminent, this reference stood out to me one day as I studied the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly: "As the children of Israel were guided triumphantly through the Red Sea, the dark ebbing and flowing tides of human fear,—as they were led through the wilderness, walking wearily through the great desert of human hopes, and anticipating the promised joy,—so shall the spiritual idea guide all right desires in their passage from sense to Soul, from a material sense of existence to the spiritual, up to the glory prepared for them who love God".
About forty-six years ago divine Love, through Christian Science, healed me after doctors had declared that I could live but a short time and was liable to die suddenly at any time from the effect of an incurable heart disease.
Christian Science was offered to me many years ago at a time when I was passing through a period of great sorrow.
Three physicians in consultation told my husband over thirty years ago that there was nothing more they could do for me.
About twenty-eight years ago, before I learned of the wonderful religion, Christian Science, I did not know much about the nature of divine omnipotence.
