OUR FAITHFUL GOD

How often we are strengthened and comforted in what seem trying and difficult circumstances by God's angel messages, which never fail to shine forth from ever-present Love, and which lift men out of the seeming shadows, however drear and dark they may be, and reveal to them the saving and redeeming fact of God's ever-presence! As the glorious light of God's all-presence dawns upon us and we learn that ever-present good leaves neither place nor power for anything unlike good, fear and anxiety are dispelled, and evil more and more loses its supposititious power to alarm and enslave us.

As we turn to God and base our thinking upon divine Principle, instead of upon the vagaries of mortal mind, evil suggestions seem less real, the veil of material thinking is pierced, and God's nearness and allness become far more tangible to us than the so-called presence and power of evil. Actually there is no other presence than omnipresence, and man always is in this presence. Safety, guidance, health, supply, completeness, courage, and joy are his, for all that is of God, good, is expressed by man. This substance of good constitutes our real selfhood, our real being.

The Life which is God expresses itself in man's real and only and only being, and man would cease to be if man's oneness with the Life which is God were dissolved. But this oneness cannot be broken. Man, as divine idea, cannot exist apart from God, his divine Principle; neither can God, divine Principle, exist without ideas, without the infinite manifestation of Himself.
