I can never be grateful enough...
I can never be grateful enough for Christian Science and the blessings it has brought to me and mine. It is a wonderful way of living which brings one into closer communion with God.
I have been healed of many ailments, including a goiter which disappeared after three weeks' treatment by a Christian Science practitioner. I have also had a quick recovery from influenza and have had teeth extracted without discomfort or bad aftereffects. I am deeply grateful for the effective help of our consecrated practitioners. Christian Science has not only healed me physically but has shown me how to avail myself of God's guidance and protection in raising my family, in business, and in times of accidents.
About seven years ago my young daughter became seriously ill with an infected leg. The condition steadily grew worse, even though treatment had been given. Although she did not suffer, I was very fearful; but as I studied and prayed day and night for a week, I began to discover the many new truths revealed in Christian Science, and light began to dawn in my consciousness. I discovered with great joy that man is not two—a physical and a spiritual entity—but only one, and that one spiritual; and that the seeming physical is not really man. When this spiritual concept became clear to me so that I could wait upon my child and not see the frightening suggestions as her real selfhood, I suddenly discovered that the flesh around the center of the infection had become clear and normal.
