Healing of spinal injury cancels medical sentence
A testimony which I read in a Sentinel has inspired me to submit mine. The writer said, "Mrs. Eddy tells us in the Manual of The Mother Church (Art. VIII, Sect. 24), 'Testimony in regard to the healing of the sick is highly important.'" The writer also said she realized that "Mrs. Eddy expected us to send testimonies to the Christian Science periodicals as well as to testify at Wednesday meetings."
My first healing in Christian Science was instantaneous. I had received a spinal injury as the result of an automobile collision. I suffered for many months and tried various kinds of doctors. One of them said I would eventually be unable to walk if I did not submit to an operation. I tried Christian Science instead and was healed during my first visit to a practitioner. I am grateful for this healing, for it brought me into Christian Science. I am also grateful for many other healings that have taken place in our family.— (Mrs.) Eloise Huddleston, Dallas, Texas.
