Sunday School thanked for quick healing of paralysis
I should like to express my gratitude for the Christian Science Sunday School, which I started to attend out of curiosity at the age of twelve years. The happy, uplifting outlook on life taught there so impressed me that I continued attending until I reached the age limit of twenty years.
The following healing is related for the purpose of giving encouragement to those who need to know that "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26).
Several years after finishing Sunday School, I was climbing a rope which suddenly broke, letting me plunge eleven feet down and landing me on concrete. I was taken unconscious to a receiving hospital, where X rays showed that the pelvic bones were crushed, resulting in paralysis of hips and legs. The doctors said I would not walk for three years. Upon my awakening I asked my mother, who had been called, to telephone the Christian Science practitioner who had been my Sunday School teacher.
