Family blessed. Sons in combat protected by mental work

What have I to be grateful for today? The answer to that question is not difficult, for I have found a God whose promises really are kept. Jesus counseled (Matt. 5:48), "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. " When one is suffering from pain and sickness, this admonition may seem far from practical. But Jesus' words (John 8:31,32), "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," leave us in no doubt. Through careful study of the Scriptures with Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I am happy to say we have found the truth, and it has freed my family and me from many ills of the flesh.

We were blessed with a family of seven boys and two girls. During the last war five of the boys served in combat areas in different parts of the world. All came home in good health. For this manifestation of the protecting power of Truth out gratitude is very great.

With such a large family we have had many problems to meet. Christian Science has met our need whenever it has been called on.
