Goiter disappears; false appetites healed
In the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings."
Over thirty years ago I leaned on material remedies for my substance, health, and happiness. At that time I became very ill and turned to a physician for help. After an examination I was told that I had a disease called exophthalmic goiter. It was considered rare for a man to have this disease. X rays were taken, and many consultations were held in two medical colleges; in fact, the case was reported in a medical journal. I was in the hospital for four months and came out in the same condition.
