Deductions drawn from basis of Truth lead to liberation from false belief
RIGHT REASONING AND SPIRITUAL EXISTENCE
Christian Science teaches the necessity of understanding that existence is entirely spiritual. Whatever tradition, material science, or false theology may claim to the contrary, mankind must sooner or later abandon their erroneous concept of life as existent in matter, or as a mixture of both material and spiritual consciousness. It is this wrong concept of existence that fetters men and women all over the earth and supports the claims of evil that man is subject to disease, hatred, fear, sin, and death.
Every healing in Christian Science refutes the claims of matter, or evil, and reveals man's spiritual existence in God's perfect universe. As long as we base our thinking on unintelligent matter as cause, we see the result of this false thinking: mortal man susceptible to unhappiness, insecurity, and lack. Once we awake, however, to the blessed reality of spiritual being, we perceive in increasing measure our real selfhood as the child of God, infinite Love, eternally at peace.
We learn in Christian Science that in the infinitude of Truth there is no room for anything unlike God, good, and that therefore that which contradicts man's birthless and deathless being is mortal mind's powerless negation of reality. Our consciousness of man's permanent safety in Mind as the spiritual offspring of Spirit destroys mortality's claims to danger.
