The world needs our expressions of love. A businesswoman has healing proof of this
TENDERNESS
The sweet grace of tenderness is taken for granted in families and among friends, but it often stops with these intimate relationships. Yet the Bible and the teachings of Christian Science reveal that tenderness is coexistent with and inseparable from the power and activity of the omnipresent God who is Love, or Spirit. In her main work, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Mary Baker Eddy assures us (p. 514), "Tenderness accompanies all the might imparted by Spirit."
The materially-minded look to mortals for this grace of Spirit, but tenderness, being a spiritual quality, is not to be found in a false sense of man or existence. If one looks to matter for good of any kind, he is doomed to disappointment, for Christian Science teaches that all good belongs to the one all-inclusive God and is expressed by man, His image and likeness. Christ Jesus said to the young man who called him "Good Master" (Matt. 19:16, 17), "Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God." Good, which emanates from God, who is All, is changeless and eternal.
The entire dream of life and intelligence in matter is a misconception which perverts the qualities of Spirit. It claims that tenderness can instantly change to a harsh, cold, unrelenting attitude, and that man is at the mercy of the changing and unstable moods of the unillumined human consciousness. Christian Science demonstrates that the tenderness which is a quality of divine Love ever remains warm and loving, bringing joy, blessing, and healing to all it touches. It is expressed in courtesy, consideration, brotherly love, and the like.
