Instantaneous healing through reading textbook
It is with deep and sincere gratitude that I wish to express my thankfulness to God for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this healing and saving truth in such a clear way that we all can understand and use it every day.
For years I had been suffering from gastric ulcers. My diet was extremely limited, consisting mostly of pills and powders. Instead of improving, I grew steadily worse. The physician attending me said I would have to submit to an operation if I expected ever to be well. An alert student of Christian Science, seeing my need, asked me if I would care to try Science. I was willing, and she quickly brought Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to me. While reading this book I realized something of the truths of God and man and was instantly healed. I enjoyed a satisfactory dinner with my family, without any unpleasant results. This healing took place over eleven years ago.
I also had an instantaneous healing of chronic sick headaches through reading a statement in Science and Health which made clear the all-power of God. I realized that there could not possibly be an evil power called a sick headache, since all power is of God and of God alone. Immediately I was free. This healing also has been permanent.
