Words are indeed inadequate to...
Words are indeed inadequate to express my gratitude; hence my foremost aim is to walk in the way indicated by our Master, Christ Jesus, and to keep his commandments. The blessings and healings which have come to me through Christian Science are many. Despite the inharmonious state of the world today, I am pursuing my way with joy, in the full consciousness that "the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
Over nineteen years ago, when I was still seeking truth in human wisdom, which "is foolishness with God," divine Love led me to Christian Science. The logical explanations from the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which followed citations from the Bible in the services, made an immediate appeal to me, and I began to study Christian Science earnestly. I have learned to see how true are God's promises as given to us in the Bible.
My desire to grow in understanding was considerably impeded by the material philosophy to which I had hitherto subscribed. Truth and error were constantly at war in my consciousness.
