Christian Science has taught me...
Christian Science has taught me through the years that God is a loving presence and not a distant God. I was led to this healing truth when seeking help for our child for what is called St. Vitus's dance. The physician said she would never be free from it. After following his advice for a time with no benefits, we turned to Christian Science for help. Her healing came quickly, and it was permanent. I was brought out of a nervous condition of many years' standing.
Two of our children were born under Christian Science treatment, and the births were so nearly painless that the physician in attendance was most interested in each case and inquired about Christian Science.
Whooping cough was healed for one of the girls in three days; and this same child, with the help of a practitioner, together with her own metaphysical work, was healed of diseased tonsils, which had caused her much illness and loss of time from school.
