The study and application of the truth as taught in Christian Science has brought many blessings into my life during the past eighteen years. Upon taking my stand to put first things first in regard to branch church activity, I was led into a field of work which was different from any that I had hitherto followed and which has enabled me to have all the time I needed to serve the church of which I am a member and to serve in the Sunday School. This has been a wonderful proof to me that God does direct our life even to the minutest detail when we prepare our thought properly to receive His direction.

I am grateful for every opportunity to serve our Cause and am increasingly grateful for the Manual of The Mother Church as given to us by Mary Baker Eddy. I have experienced numerous healings through the application of the truths learned in Christian Science, sometimes through my own understanding and sometimes through the help of a faithful practitioner.

My wife was healed of asthma, from which she had suffered since childhood, through the help of a practitioner when we first became interested in the study of Christian Science. I have been healed of the smoking and drinking habits, of food poisoning, of physical discomforts of which I do not even know the name, and of what materia medica would call a third degree burn, as well as having had many false traits of character and methods of material thinking drop away.
