Signs of the Times
Dr. Charles R. Rowe in a sermon reported in the Valley Times North Hollywood, California
It is the Christian faith that human nature can be changed by the power of a supreme affection, namely, the love of God. War is not inevitable. There is a power that is at the heart of the universe that makes for righteousness, peace, and good will among men. The very stars in their courses are shining for the right. When man through surrender to the highest aligns himself with the best in the universe, he will build the enduring temple of peace.
The Rev. C. L. G. Bruce in a sermon reported in the Citizen, Ottawa Ontario, Canada
