It is difficult to find adequate...

It is difficult to find adequate words with which to express my gratitude for Christian Science. Several years ago this Science was presented to me after a loved one had passed on. I was glad to accept it and asked for treatment from a practitioner. I was in need of healing of a great sense of grief and also of bronchial asthma, from which I had suffered at intervals since childhood. A specialist and numerous doctors had treated me from time to time, but had found nothing that would stop these attacks. At this time the doctor told me that nothing further could be done for me. With the help which the practitioner gave me I began to improve. As I read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, courage took the place of fear, and I knew that I had found the way. The healing was slow, but it has been permanent. There was also an instantaneous healing of fever.

Over two years ago I experienced a beautiful healing of intestinal obstruction. At the time, I was employed with very responsible work, and it seemed that I would not be able to continue. I was led to visit a practitioner, and with his faithful, loving help and my increasing realization of the presence and power of God and the nothingness of the error, the healing came. During this time I was able to attend to my work every day. This healing also has been permanent, and I am deeply grateful for the progress that it has meant for me. I was also healed of a badly sprained ankle.

I am grateful to God for Mrs. Eddy, for the practitioners, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.—(Mrs.) Dorothy Haynie, Fort Worth, Texas.
